Before the first day
Clear the kitchen and nearby rooms. Empty cabinets and move items you use to another area.
Confirm delivery dates and know where the main water shutoff is.
Plan for meals, since the kitchen will be limited for a time.
Delivery and preparation
Cabinets arrive and are checked against the order. Floors and paths are covered.
Old cabinets are removed if they are part of the scope.
Walls are checked and prepared.
Setting the cabinets
A level layout is marked, base cabinets are set and fastened and wall cabinets are hung.
Fillers, end panels and trim pieces are fitted.
Doors and drawers are hung and first adjustments made.
Counters and trades
After the base cabinets are secure, the countertop is templated and made, which takes time.
Plumbers and electricians connect sinks, appliances and lights.
Backsplash and paint follow the counters.
Trim and hardware
Crown, light rail and finishing trim are installed. Hardware is fitted with templates.
Final adjustments make doors and drawers line up.
Touch-up and cleaning prepare the room for review.
Walk-through
We walk the room with you and write down anything you want improved.
We return, finish the list and confirm each item.
You receive a care guide and contact details for service.
Plan for a limited kitchen during the work, and keep decisions about counters, plumbing and trim ready ahead of time.
