A trade group of woodworking machinery and supply companies, known for a large industry fair.
The Association of Woodworking and Furnishings Suppliers, known as AWFS, describes itself as a trade association for suppliers to the woodworking and furniture industries. It is best known for the AWFS Fair, a large show where machinery, tools and materials are displayed. Cabinet shops, including ones serving Nashville, often learn about new tools, finishes and hardware at events like this.
We are an independent cabinet company and are not part of AWFS. We mention it so you can see how the trade stays current. The official site shows what the association and its fair offer, and we are glad to explain how new tools and materials affect the cabinets we build.
